Kim Kardashian is in the era of Shel Silverstein. She will be honored at the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala with the “Giving Tree Award,” according to reports on Tuesday.
It recognizes a celebrity mother who has used her platform to support Baby2Baby and children in need, according to Forbes.
The Baby2Baby gala will be held on November 12 and presented by Paul Mitchell. In addition to Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Vanessa Bryant, and others, Kim will join a list of past honorees.
The co-CEOs of Baby2Baby, Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, told Forbes there was no better example than Kim, noting she used her “unrivaled platform to raise awareness for children lacking diapers and formula during COVID.”
A statement from the foundation stated that Kim contributed “millions of dollars in funds and in-kind products,” which are contributions of goods and services other than cash grants, “to further our mission.”
During her time working with the organization, Kim has donated over half a million dollars in cash and five million dollars in in-kind clothing and hygiene products.
Kim’s donations revealed a side of her not always portrayed. In the upcoming season of The Kardashians, we may see Kim in a more vulnerable light.
Ahead of the upcoming season of “Good Morning America,” Kim talked to Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian on Tuesday.
Kanye West’s ex-wife says the premiere episode is “like a really deep, vulnerable episode that we haven’t discussed.” “People will be really surprised,” she added.
Pete Davidson, Kim’s ex-boyfriend, is reportedly not going to appear on the reality show. Page Six quoted a source as saying, “Pete is in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like him.”
During the interview, Kim explained that she is experiencing so much independence this season.
